A Dress. A Dream. A Difference
A quinceañera is referred or applies directly.
01
A church, community partner, friend or family member can refer a quinceañera who needs a dress, or she can apply directly through our website. We keep the process simple. Just a few details such as contact information, city, quinceañera date, dress size and preferences. No financial documents or proof of need required.
02
Proyecto15 reviews the information and begins the match.
Once we receive the information, Proyecto15 looks through our available dresses to find options that match her size, style preferences and quinceañera date. We then connect directly with the quinceañera or her parent or guardian about next steps.
03
She finds a dress that feels like hers.
Proyecto15 helps each quinceañera find a dress she feels beautiful and confident wearing on her special day. Girls may be matched directly with available dresses or attend one of our community pop-ups, where they can see and try on dresses in person.
Our last dress pop-up was held at the Napa-Vallejo Flea Market on September 6.
Who We Are
Proyecto15 is a student-led initiative based in San Francisco, making sure the cost of a dress never stands between a quinceañera and celebrating this meaningful tradition.
It started as a passion project. The goal now is to grow it into something bigger — local boutiques, community organizations, and student volunteers all working the same referral-to-boutique model.
