Proyecto15 is a student-led community initiative based in San Francisco with a mission to empower Latina girls by helping them celebrate one of the most significant milestones in their lives - their quinceañera.

Proyecto15 was born from a simple yet powerful idea: every girl deserves to feel seen, celebrated, and confident on her quinceañera regardless of financial circumstance. Recognizing that many families face barriers to affording the gowns and accessories central to this cherished tradition, Proyecto15 collects and donates new or gently used dresses, accessories, and resources to those in need.

What started as a passion project, the goal is to quickly grow Proyecto15 into a movement that brings together local businesses, community members, and student volunteers to support cultural pride, boost self-esteem, and create lasting memories for young Latinas across the Bay Area.

At its core, Proyecto15 is about more than just dresses. It’s about honoring tradition, fostering inclusion, and reminding every girl that she matters.
